About the PPGBA
The Postgraduate Program in Animal Biology (PPGBA) is an academic master's degree from UFVJM, in Diamantina-MG, created in 2015 and designed within the broad area of Biodiversity.
It aims to train human resources trained to carry out activities related to integrated studies in the areas of ecology, animal morphology and physiology , biogeography, taxonomy of recent groups and applied zoology.
Sobre a UFVJM
The University is located in the southern portion of the Cadeia do Espinhaço, one of the regions with the greatest biological diversity in the country and at the same time with huge knowledge gaps for several taxonomic groups
The PPGBA has served a very wide audience, not only because of its strategic location, located further north in the state of Minas Gerais in a region that hosts a very high fauna biodiversity under strong anthropic pressure, but also because of the composition and quality of its faculty and students
